AUTHOR APPEARANCES

Author and speaker, Michael Baumann has appeared at many events and has been asked to be the keynote speaker for clubs, associations, and organizations across Minnesota and Wisconsin since returning to Minnesota after 20 years service in the U.S. Army. He is a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, professional, experienced warrior, and noted authority regarding the military role with the War on Terror; a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, Baumann brings the Army story to the American public. His leadership of an Army battalion in Iraq provided him insight, knowledge, and experience that few so called experts can provide.

“My objective since retirement has been to educate Americans about the war in Iraq and to tell them the ‘inside story’ of the Army, its soldiers, and what we have been doing since 2003 in Iraq. The news media: print, television, and radio do a very poor job of articulating what America’s military is doing in Iraq. I can do better.”
